Run Your First Standalone Automated Test in ContextQA
Running automated tests in ContextQA is a key step in modern software quality assurance. You'll execute a test case, track its progress in real time, and review the results—all in one streamlined workflow.
Go to the dashboard in ContextQA.
Click the pencil icon in the left navigation menu to open your test case list.
Select a test case you've already created by clicking on it.
Look for the Run button on the test case screen. Click Run.
When prompted, choose the default execution type to start the test.
Watch as your test case executes on the execution screen. Each step runs live, so you can follow along as ContextQA moves through your scenario.
Once the execution finishes, check the notification confirming the test completed successfully.
Click the Quick View button to see a summary of your test results.
For a detailed breakdown, go to run history. Click on the most recent entry for your test.
Review the detailed execution logs showing each test step and its outcome.
