Easily Import Test Cases in Bulk Using the Import File Method
Importing test cases in bulk saves time and helps you manage large test suites more efficiently. In this guide, you’ll learn how to use contextQA’s Import File feature to quickly upload multiple test cases from an XLS file.
On your contextQA dashboard, select the Import File option.
Click the upload area and choose your test cases file. Make sure the file is in XLS format.
If you’re unsure about the required format, review the available sample sheet. Download the sample for reference.
Fill in your test case data following the sample sheet’s structure. Once your file is ready, drag and drop it into the upload area or select it directly.
Click Create Test Case to start the upload.
Go to Imported Files to check the upload status. Your file will be imported in seconds, and your new test cases will appear in the system.
Review the imported test cases. They’re now ready to be executed. New test cases uploaded via this method are marked with the AI upload label for easy identification.
Bulk importing is the fastest way to add multiple test cases at once. Use this feature to streamline your QA workflow and reduce manual effort.
