Runtime Variable

Instructions:

  1. Navigate to Testcase and Click on Variables

  1. A popup will be displayed. Add the Parameter Name and Parameter Value and Click on Create

  1. Click on Test step and Select the template 'Enter test-data in the label field'

  1. Select test-data and hit backspace

  1. You will see options like Plain Text, Parameter, Runtime and Environment. Please select Runtime

  1. Enter the Text in test-data (Ex: Here we have entered username)

  1. Click on label field to display elements

  1. You can also create a new element by clicking on "Create Element."

  1. Add all the details like Name, Screen Name, Value, Labels and Click on Create

  1. The Variable is successfully added
